Before becoming an attorney, April was an Immigration Paralegal for eleven years and continued her law practice in that field before accepting a position at a Collections firm managing the litigation section. Developing a passion for Collections, she continues to work on cases in that field. In 2016, April returned to private practice and currently focuses on Family Law and Collections. In addition to private practice, April has worked in in both the private and public sectors. She has worked on cases in almost every parish in Louisiana, as well as some in California and New Jersey. April earned an Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University, and a Juris Doctorate from Southern University Law Center.

April is very hands-on in her practice and takes great pride in her accessibility to her clients. She currently resides in Plaquemine, Louisiana with her husband and a large variety of animals.
